Importance of Google SEO Optimization for Bloggers

What is the Importance of SEO for Bloggers and Site Owners ?

Google SEO Optimization for Bloggers is quite similar to inviting guests over a grand party hosted by you and that is why Google SEO optimization is very very important for each and every blogger. Your party may be grand and rich in content and quality but without guests arriving at your grand party, it won’t be of much use. The life of a party exists in guests and without guests, it would be a party without any life. Don’t you agree with me!

Blog Without Readers Is Like A Party Without Guests

Google SEO Optimization

The party may have all the delicacies in form of yummy delicious range of food, all the favourite drinks, rich joyful events and several other rich sources of fun and enjoyment but just think once about the state of the party when the guests don’t turnover at your grand party.

However grand a party could be but its soul resides in its guests. Biggest of the parties may fail, if the guests do not turn around.

Google SEO Optimization Attracts Organic Traffic / Unique Visitors

Today, Google is considered as one of the best sources to attract organic traffic to our blogs and sites. Google also directs unique visitors to our blogs or sites and if the bloggers want to keep the flow of unique visitors at their blogs and sites then there is no other way out than to work hard at optimizing their sites or blogs keeping in mind the Google SEO optimization techniques.

Simple Formula Behind Google SEO Optimization

Optimized Blog = Google SEO (Loved Factors – Hated Factors )

The simple formula to have an SEO optimized site according to Google is by including everything Google SEO loves while excluding everything that Google SEO hates. Its so simple, isn’t it!

Even the biggest parties would turn out to be a flop show in absence of the guests and when we say guests, every blogger knows we are talking about human visitors, which is commonly known as traffic.

Original Content is The King & SEO Optimization is The Queen

A harmony between The King and The Queen together can create a strong bond. Right!

Bloggers create, develop and manage the online world of digital media by publishing rich quality content and then optimizing it on the basis of best Google SEO optimization techniques. If I am not wrong in my thoughts, every genuine blogger loves to publish only and only rich quality content on their blog.

Well, the bloggers who don’t publish original content, I don’t think they need to be considered as bloggers. Developing a relation between SEO and quality content, it would not be wrong to say that if the original content is the king then white hat SEO optimization technique is the queen.

Fear of SEO Optimization Techniques

While interacting with some of the fellow bloggers during my short blogging journey, I came to know that many bloggers don’t consider Google SEO optimization at all and simply keep worrying about the shortage of organic traffic on their blogs.

This post about the importance of Google SEO optimization is actually written as a means to let each and every blogger understand the importance of SEO optimization for their blogs and an effort to help every blogger get rid of their fear of Google SEO optimization for their blogs.

Human Mind is Better than SEO Optimization Algorithms

Believe me, Google SEO optimization is not a rocket science as I am a firm believer that human mind is always better than any algorithm in terms of logics and critical thinking. After all, a machine or an algorithm is simply a product of human mind.

On-Page Optimization and Off-Page SEO Optimization

Google SEO optimization techniques advocates a very important fact about considering content as the king and you must write and publish contents for humans but at the same time, it also says that you must use proper on-page SEO optimization techniques as well as off-page SEO optimization techniques to help the readers find your content filter out from the sea of millions and billions of sites running over the Internet.

White Hat SEO Optimization is Ethical SEO

No one can deny the fact that many sites are lost in the sea of Internet without getting proper exposure from the readers due to the lack of SEO optimization on blogs or sites. Ethical or white hat SEO optimization had never been considered wrong in the past, neither it will be considered wrong ever in the future.

Foreground Process – Original Quality Content | Background Process – SEO Optimization

The best Google SEO optimization technique for every blogger would be to write the content for humans while keeping the existence of Google search engine in the back of their mind. A blogger can consider writing quality original content as the primary foreground process while keeping the SEO optimization running in the background processing of their mind.

Detailed Google SEO Optimization Techniques

I would have loved to talk about some of the different Google SEO optimization techniques as learned and practised by me but respecting the title of this post, I would rather not like to dilute this post by getting into the detailed process of SEO optimization techniques. I am not a Google SEO optimization master but a learner who believes in learning and sharing whatever small or big knowledge gained with my fellow bloggers.

In fact, I am planning to write separate posts picking up one topic of Google SEO optimization at a time so that proper justice can be done to every post. It will be about sharing the experiences that I have gained from my understanding of SEO optimization techniques learned through reading, discussing, understanding, practising, implementing and analysing the results on my blog.

Tell me more about Importance of Google SEO Optimization

In the meantime, keep hosting grand parties at your blogs and sites but don’t forget to put in your best efforts towards the SEO optimization of your blog so that the parties are grand in the real sense.

By the way, don’t forget to invite me too because I love parties and do enrich my knowledge by sharing your experiences too. I am eager to hear back from you and learn something new.

      Hi Deepak,

Welcome to my blog and I am glad to see you around.

It feels good to know that my post emphasizing on the importance of google SEO optimization was helpful to you. There couldn’t be a better compliment than to know the value addition that a post offers to the readers and that is what we bloggers always try to do.

Well, we all are new Deepak and that is the best part behind blogging. We learn and teach at the same time and whatever I have learned in the last couple of months during my blogging journey, I love to share.

Hopefully, I will be covering up the different aspects of google SEO optimization techniques one by one as per my understanding and in the meantime, you can look around to find some good SEO on page optimization plugins for your blog. In order to understand a bit about off page SEO, you can even have a look at one of my other posts on Google backlinks.

    Hi Ashutosh,

I loved the way you wrote this post and I think the party analogy you used was very creative.

I think you explained it beautifully when you advised us to keep writing quality content for readers, while ensuring we consider SEO in the background.

    Thank you.

      Hi Hiten,

Welcome to my blog, I am really glad to see you around.

Thanks Hiten to let me know that you loved the creativity in my post about the importance of google seo optimization. I had been a teacher for more than a decade and may be, that is where I picked up this form of creativity to explain the concepts using best of the examples in the most creative ways. Creative examples have helped me to clear a concept to my students and so I tried experimenting the same on my blog too. I am glad that you loved it.

SEO optimization is important and will remain always important, subject to the condition that we restrict ourselves to ethical SEO or white hat SEO only and there couldn’t be a better way than to keep SEO in the background while writing quality content for our readers.

Thanks Hiten once again for walking over and adding some more value to my blog with your presence.

Keep visiting and be in touch.

    Hi Ashutosh,

Thanks for this post. I think you’re right to say we need to keep SEO in mind, but always make sure we’re writing for our human readers, not just for the search engines.

I think there are different levels of SEO – at a very sophisticated level, I do think it’s very complex and probably beyond what most solo bloggers are capable of. I’m sure large companies spend a small fortune on SEO and have armies of experts helping them to get it right. I just try to implement SEO at a very basic level on my blog, with the help of a couple of plugins. I’m afraid I don’t have the time, skills or resources to do more than that and I refuse to get worked up about all the latest Google algorithm updates.

      Welcome to my blog Susan.

You are right, we are writing for humans and not for search engines and its good to keep SEO in mind.

There is no doubt about the complexity about SEO as there are innumerable factors guiding the concepts. Most of the bloggers are working on the model of one man army. We have to do everything write from the beginning of setting up the blog, designing it, putting every bit of pieces in place, keyword research, understanding the psychology of readers, google SEO optimization, google backlinks, page speed optimization etc and its really gets quite difficult to manage all the perspectives behind running a successful blog.

In fact, we bloggers have an added advantage that we are capable of doing everything on our own and the best part is we always keep learning and adapting to the environment. Optimization of the resources is required and the most important resource is our time.

Thanks Susan for walking in and enriching by blog with your valuable comments.

Keep writing and be in touch.

    Hi Ashutosh,

I can see some nice changes on your blog – great going 🙂

Yes indeed, SEO is important but I wouldn’t totally rely on it because it’s forever changing. What works today might change tomorrow and that affects our posts written earlier, and due to lack of time few of us are really able to go back and make those edits in older posts.

I agree that the organic traffic we get from the search engines is needed to a certain extent, but as Sue mentioned, we don’t or shouldn’t write for the search engines, but for the humans. I liked the party analogy you used – and all I would say is that we need to go beyond SEO and start building relationships with people and fellow bloggers because they are always there to stay – they never change and are through thick and thin with us, isn’t it?

I get the same amount of referral and organic traffic though their percentage keeps varying off and on, but that doesn’t stop me from commenting, nor trying to optimize my blog using SEO techniques. I think a perfect blend of both is what we need, isn’t it?

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week 🙂

      Hi Harleena,

Good to see you around after a long time and thanks for appreciating the changes. 🙂

Since, change is the basic law of nature, I try to incorporate the changes as I learn new things during my blogging journey. Learning is an unending process and I hope the changes will keep happening along with the learning.

You are absolutely rights in mentioning that SEO is important and is one of the ways to increase organic traffic but not the only way. Building relations, knowing and interacting with each other as humans has its own essence. In fact, it is the power of building relations that makes our blog a dynamic live entity rather than a static automated entity.

The real strength in a blog comes from our fellow bloggers as well as the faith and trust that we develop with each other. It won’t be true blogging, if we ever start writing for search engines. After all, the information is processed by humans and not by the search engines. Search engines only use automated algorithms. I am a firm believer that human mind has been and will always remain over any automated algorithm or machine. Providing value addition to our fellow bloggers and our readers is the real essence behind blogging and we have no rights to compromise it in any ways.

Importance of google seo optimization must be equally balanced with other methods and for a holistic experience, we must try to create a perfect blend, exactly the way you have mentioned it.

Thanks for taking in your valuable time and enriching my blog with your deep insights. Your kind efforts are highly appreciated. 🙂

    Hi Ashutosh,

I am aware of the SEO. I heard it so much it impossible to ignore it. However, although I know the importance of SEO, I don’t really write for the search engine but for warm-blooded human being.

It’s nice to have that organic search from time to time. But I am more lenient to my “referrals” other than anything.

Anyway, thank you for romancing the words on SEO. Great post to educate and inform those who are just starting out.

Have a great week my friend.

      Hi Angela,

You are right, it is quite impossible to ignore the importance of Google SEO optimization by the bloggers community at large because it is one of the important sources for getting organic traffic but not at the cost of churning out words for machines.

SEO optimization is one of the ways but not the only ways and irrespective of the changes happening around, the value and importance of community development will never get replaced by SEO optimization. We need a human touch to our blogs to make it live and interesting and SEO can never add that human touch.

Referrals is something that has its own worth, completely different and emotional which can be developed only through human interactions as we do.

Thanks a lot Angela for taking out your valuable time and enriching my blog with your valuable thoughts. I am glad that you liked my romancing with the words on SEO. I hope it could be valuable to all the newbie bloggers who simply want to understand the value of Google SEO optimization for their blogs.

    Hi Ashutosh,,

    This is always good info.
I really like what you said about how the human mind being better than any SEO strategy.
I think that all in all – while there are plenty of people (myself included) looking strictly for info about a subject, there are those (again, myself included) also looking for uplifting interaction.
So the fact that you combined both perspectives here is really cool.

I use the Yoast plugin for the SEO Optimization – and so far it’s been easy enough to work with and keeps things simple.

Personally, I’ve found content both via referral and organic traffic – while I would have to say that the best feedback (via genuine and thoughtful comments) have come from the referral traffic of the blogging community.
So I think it all works together 🙂

      Hi Dana,

      Welcome to my blog.

You are absolutely right that a human mind has always been and will always remain over and above any machine or algorithm, irrespective of however advance it can be developed. After all, algorithms are written by humans.

According to me, blogging is an interactive platform which works on a two way communication system. It is unlike the traditional mode where one party keeps lecturing while the other keeps reading. We interact and we learn through these interactions and that is what makes blogging a dynamic entity, completely different from any other mode of information sharing.

Referral traffic is dependent on the human behaviour while the organic traffic is dependent on the algorithmic behaviour but both are equally important. Lately there has been a lot of hype about the importance of Google SEO optimization not only for bloggers but for everyone associated with the digital world but we can’t neglect the worth of one in place of the other.

Thanks for taking in your time and enriching my blog with your valuable comment.

    Hi Ashutosh,

I can’t tell you how many people I run into that say the don’t pay attention to SEO for their blog. But I think it’s like you said, they’re a little fearful.

We have to have balance. Certainly over optimization is bad but if you understand that a search engine algorithm is software you have to consider at least doing the basic things that help the software find you.

On the other hand there are bloggers that will tell you that even though SEO is important, the real traffic generator isn’t the search engines, it’s the personal connections, The goal of attracting tons of traffic through search engine optimization isn’t as big a strategy as it use to be, Today more folks work at attracting more loyal, trusted, targeted traffic through the personal connections they make every day.

That’s where balance comes in 🙂

    Any thoughts?

      Hi Liz,

      Welcome to my blog. 🙂

Maintaining a balance is what we all do in different aspects of our life and blogging isn’t an exception to it. After all, it is the balancing that gives a smooth ride in our life. Google SEO, optimization or SEO optimization, whatever you call is an important aspect behind attracting organic traffic. Just like excess of anything is bad, similarly the shortage of something is also bad and that is what makes the balancing act so more important.

Today, blogging and the world of Internet has evolved much more than what it was around 15 years back, when Google made an entry. Social Media, personal connection and building a blogosphere relationship is important too. Only a single strategy can’t take us far off and as it is said in finance, keeping all the eggs in a single basket could be dangerous, exactly in the same way, relying only on one single source for attracting traffic to our blog could be more than dangerous.

There is no doubt about balancing our marketing strategy, placing our trust and faith in all the factors affecting the world of Internet.

Thanks Liz for walking in and enriching my blog post about the Importance of Google SEO Optimization with your thoughtful balancing thoughts.

      Keep writing and keep visiting.
