Best Career Option For You

What is your Best Career Option ?

Selecting the best career option for you is the most difficult and important decision responsible for shaping the structure of your life. One right choice gives you the power to realize all your dreams but how and who is going to decide the best career option for you!

Bouquet of Career Options on Offer

Best Career Option

Best is something that offers you nothing better in other alternatives. Innumerable career options have opened up in the last couple of years with several options luring you. More are the career options, tougher is the choice because once you have selected a career option, there is no way to return back and thus it gets more important to select the one that offers a long way in your career path, proving itself to be the best career option for you. One wrong choice leads to another wrong choice that throws you completely out of a career path as planned by you.

Choosing Career is not like Following a Herd of Sheep

Selecting a career option only because everyone is doing the same is a career suicidal choice that leads you nowhere. Becoming the part of a herd of sheep blindly following the popular career option trends narrows down your placement opportunities with the increased competition. It is a difficult choice wherein you have to match your love of doing something and a career option that is not followed by others like a herd of sheep. Nothing good in life is ever achieved by exercising easy options.

Develop the Courage to take a Bold Career Decision

If you thought that I am going to tell you what is the best career option for you then you are at the wrong place and you may be simply wasting your time reading further. In such a case, my suggestion would be to search elsewhere. No, I am not going to feed you with a career option that you can pursue. I don’t believe in feeding you for a day rather I will try to make you understand and learn something to help you deciding the best career option for you. You have to be independent and responsible enough to make your own decisions.

Help Yourself to Choose Best Career

Remember, even Krishna in Mahabharata only guided Arjuna about the good and bad but the final decision was taken by Arjuna. Similarly, I could be only your guiding factor but the final decision has to be only yours and believe me, no one could ever take a decision for yourself. It is your life and you are in the best position to decide your life for yourself. No one else could ever know or even understand what could be the best career option for you. No one could help you, if you can’t help yourself.

Your Best Career Option is Waiting for You

Whether you belong to commerce stream, science stream, arts stream or even management stream, there is always one best career option waiting specifically for you. Looking back in the pages of history, there are several incidences to prove that people who have done something that they loved to do have been successful in carving out a niche position for themselves. Best career option for you in not a generalized question that could be answered in a single line for all of you by anyone existing on this earth. Beware, if someone promises you the same.

Self-Learning is the Best Learning Ability

I have seen many of you spending lot of time on social media websites such as Facebook and I believe you all enjoy it. You haven’t been taught by anyone about the use and application of your mobile phones or computers, but you have learned it all yourself. Did you read any book or even the manuals that come with the mobile phones! This is the essence that I am trying to mention, you learned something on your own that you loved to do. Why not apply the same principle while deciding the best career option for you! Self-Learning is the best mode and method of learning.

Select a Career Option that You Love

Looking into the individuality and uniqueness of your personal traits, preferences and interest areas, there is something specific that turns out to be the best career option for you. If you try to do something that you don’t love then you are bound to get distracted resulting as lack of concentration. Once the concentration is lost, your efficiency is lost too, thereby reducing the impact of your efforts. You have been born to do something unique, something that you love and by following others, you are only narrowing down your own options. You are the Master of your own life therefore you are the only one who could be the best person to decide on the best career option for you. If you do what you love to do then you won’t ever need to work in your life.

      Thanks Sheeba on my blog.

I am glad that you liked my exposure of thoughts about choosing a career of your choice. I believe that it is where most of us commit one of the biggest mistake, choosing a career option that is based on several other factors rather than our own choice. There are people like you who have been right in their choice and thus enjoying the work as well as life simultaneously. I wish that more and more parents as well as mentors of our current generation understand this simple fact and let our generation carve out their own path. They have talent, they have skills and they have the desires to achieve their dreams. They only need help, love and support that could strengthen their wings so that they could fly and touch the sky.

On the contrary, when they don’t enjoy their work then a very high level of frustration starts building in them, which according to me is neither good for them nor for the society.

Thanks for stopping by and enriching my exposure of thoughts with your deep insights.

    Hi Ashutosh,

Nice to be over at your blog too. 🙂

Choosing the best career option isn’t easy, especially for teenagers who are just out of school, unless they have their aims and goals chalked out right in-front of them right from the start.

I guess parents and teachers play a major role in motivating students and children, or helping them find their passion and encouraging them to take those streams, which results in them taking careers of their choice. So, it all starts when they are young – isn’t it. Kids are often like mud whom you can mold and shape into anything you want. But how you plant a garden in that mud and nurture is, often lies in us adults more than the kids.

However, parents and teachers shouldn’t enforce their wants and likes onto the child’s, instead, just guide them by giving them various options in hand and then let them decide which passion of theirs would they like to choose. It’s often seen that those kids whose passion becomes their career do well than the others because they enjoy doing what they do, and that makes a lot of difference.

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice weekend 🙂

Thanks Harleena for walking over and enlightening the exposure of my thoughts with your deep insight.

You are right that the parents and teachers have a very important role to play in shaping the future of our young generation. They are like the potters who have the responsibility to understand the quality of mud before moulding into the shape that best suits. Young kids are fresh so they don’t have much information and understanding about what is right and what is wrong for them. We as their mentors could show them the true picture and give them the freedom to make their own choice.

If we consider ourselves as facilitator of young kids then they have better exposure to the risk and benefits of their career choices. It would offer them an added advantage in taking their most important decision of life. They should understand and realise that they are not alone as we all are there to help them out. They just need to understand their passion, what they want to do, what they love to do.

Thanks for giving your valuable time and efforts throwing some light on the subject matter. I am obliged and hope that your thoughts would help our youngsters to shape their future as well as our society. Have a wonderful weekend. 🙂

      Hi Naveen,

I am glad to hear that you liked by blog post about choosing the best career option. Taking a decision about our career is one of the most important as well as risky tasks because there is no turn around. A right move gets you closer to the destination and one wrong move completely throws you out of the track.

You are absolutely right that a student must know about themselves. Success only comes when you have a passion for doing something and someone has rightly said, the top position is always empty for the right people.

Thanks Naveen for walking in and adding value to my blog with your presence.
